Glazed Orange Carrots
The perfect glazed orange carrots recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 bunch Carrots
- 1 Organic orange
- Cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Caramel syrup
- 2 tablespoon Walnuts
- 2 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- Wash the carrots, peel them, quarter them lengthways and cut them into pieces about 5 cm in size.
- Melt some butter in a saucepan and sauté the carrots in it.
- Wash the orange with hot water, peel off the zest in zest and squeeze it out.
- Now add the orange juice to the carrots, season with salt and cayenne pepper and stew until firm to the bite,
- Shortly before the end of the cooking time, add the butter, caramel syrup and walnuts and glaze the carrots with the saucepan open.
- Now season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
