Cheesecake with Sugar Apricots

The perfect cheesecake with sugar apricots recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Flour
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 75 g Cold butter
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 750 g Quark 40%
  • 150 g Sugar white
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla pudding
  • 1 packet Lemon peel
  • 50 Milliliters Milk
  • 700 g Sugar apricots
  1. Mix the flour with the baking powder and make a kneading dough with the cold butter, vanilla sugar and egg. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in foil and refrigerate for approx. 30 minutes.
  2. Wash the apricots, cut them in half, remove the stone and cut half of them into pieces.
  3. Mix the quark, sugar and vanilla sugar together well in a mixing bowl. Now stir in the eggs. Add the milk, lemon zest and vanilla pudding and stir everything well. Add the apricot pieces to the mixture and fold in.
  4. Pour the dough into the prepared springform pan and pull up one edge. Spread the mixture on the dough. Spread the apricot halves over the mixture.
  5. Now place the cake in the oven preheated to 175 degrees (top – bottom heat) and bake for approx. 70 minutes. When the baking time is over, take it out of the oven, let it cool down for 20 minutes, remove the edge of the springform pan and let it cool down.
