Cookies: Fine Butter Cookies (rocking Horses)
The perfect cookies: fine butter cookies (rocking horses) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Dough:
- 300 g Flour
- 250 g Butter
- 175 g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 Taste of rum
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
for decoration
- 1 Egg yolk
- Colorful sugar sprinkles
dough
- Put all the ingredients in the bowl of the food processor and mix well together. Chill the dough for about 45 minutes.
- Roll out the dough in small portions on a floured work surface approx. 5 mm thick. Cut out figures and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. I chose the rocking horses because I make other butter cookies based on an uncle’s recipe.
For decoration
- Brush the cookies with egg yolk and sprinkle with colorful sugar sprinkles (I forgot …)
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° C for about 12-15 minutes until golden
