Braised Fennel

The perfect braised fennel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 piece Fennel bulbs
  • 250 ml. Broth
  • 2 Tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt + pepper
  • 50 gr Parmesan cheese grated
  1. Cut the fennel into slices, heat the stock and butter in a saucepan, add the fennel slices and cook for 20 minutes. Place the Parmesan on the fennel slices, cover and sauté a little. Put the slices on a plate and reduce the broth, season.
  2. With boiled potatoes and chicken breast, pour the sauce over the potatoes.
