Exotic Chicory

The perfect exotic chicory recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 piston Chicory
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 100 ml Orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoon Curry
  • 1 Mango
  • 1 Apple
  • 150 ml Coconut milk
  • 150 ml Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chilli powder
  • 2 Chicken breasts
  1. Clean the chicory, remove the bitter stalk and cut into quarters.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into thin rings.
  3. Heat some oil in a pan, fry the chicory and onions in it.
  4. Deglaze with the orange juice, add honey and 1 teaspoon of curry powder, let it boil down, season with salt and pepper.
  5. Peel the mango and apple, remove the core or core and cut into cubes.
  6. Now mix the chicory with the mango and the apple.
  7. Mix coconut milk with a little oil, chili powder, salt, pepper and lemon, pour over the salad, mix well and let steep for about 1 hour.
  8. In the meantime, wash the chicken breasts, pat dry, season with salt and pepper and fry until golden in a pan with hot fat.
  9. Put the salad on a plate, put the chicken breast in slices on top and enjoy with a little baguette – bon appetit
