Exotic Chicory
The perfect exotic chicory recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 piston Chicory
- 1 Red Onion
- 100 ml Orange juice
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 2 teaspoon Curry
- 1 Mango
- 1 Apple
- 150 ml Coconut milk
- 150 ml Lemon juice
- Salt
- Pepper
- Chilli powder
- 2 Chicken breasts
- Clean the chicory, remove the bitter stalk and cut into quarters.
- Peel the onion and cut into thin rings.
- Heat some oil in a pan, fry the chicory and onions in it.
- Deglaze with the orange juice, add honey and 1 teaspoon of curry powder, let it boil down, season with salt and pepper.
- Peel the mango and apple, remove the core or core and cut into cubes.
- Now mix the chicory with the mango and the apple.
- Mix coconut milk with a little oil, chili powder, salt, pepper and lemon, pour over the salad, mix well and let steep for about 1 hour.
- In the meantime, wash the chicken breasts, pat dry, season with salt and pepper and fry until golden in a pan with hot fat.
- Put the salad on a plate, put the chicken breast in slices on top and enjoy with a little baguette – bon appetit
