Jacket Potatoes with Chives and Ham Sauce
The perfect jacket potatoes with chives and ham sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 12 Waxy potatoes
- 2 Pc. Vegetable onions
- 2 Packages Boiled ham
- 500 ml Vegetable broth
- 400 ml Lactose-Free cream
- 1 package Frozen chives
- White sauce thickener
- Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Sweet paprika
- Napati seasoning
- Boil the jacket potatoes. I take quite large potatoes, so I don’t have to peel so much 🙂 For my friend I throw smaller ones into the pot after 10 minutes, he also eats them unpeeled ^^
- Peel and roughly dice the onions. In a large frying pan, heat the frying fat and sauté and sauté the onions until they are translucent, but they should not get any color.
- Throw the ham and add to the onions and fry for a few minutes.
- Pour in the vegetable stock and cream and bring to the boil. I use lactose-free cream, but cream cheese should be included in the original recipe. It also tastes good and you can save yourself the sauce binder.
- Season the sauce with salt, pepper, paprika and seasoning of your choice. I like Napati very much.
- When the potatoes are done, bring the sauce to the boil again, thicken with a sauce thickener and first carefully add the chives. For me it was half a package yesterday, but it was also a large package. Iglo has smaller packages, so I’ll take a whole one.
