Apple Curd Sheet Cake
The perfect apple curd sheet cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 125 g Butter
- 6 piece Apple boskop
- 250 g Sugar
- 1 kg Lowfat quark
- 5 piece Eggs
- 1 packet Custard powder
- 6 tbsp Oil
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 300 g Flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
Prepare apples
- Peel and core the apples and cut into thin wedges.
Top batter
- Mix the pudding powder, 175g sugar, melted butter, 4 eggs and 850g quark with the hand mixer.

- Mix 150g quark, oil, milk and the last egg. Mix the flour, salt, baking powder and 75g sugar and add to the quark-oil dough and mix with a dough hook. Then continue kneading by hand.
On the sheet
- Roll out the quark-oil dough on baking paper in a baking sheet and distribute the apple wedges on it as you like, e.g. in rows. Then “pour” the pudding and quark mixture over the apple wedges and spread with a spatula or shake carefully. Then put 160 degrees in the oven for about 40-50 minutes. Enjoy your meal 🙂
