Sisserl’s ~ Beef Roll Roast
The perfect sisserl’s ~ beef roll roast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1300 g Beef roll roast (filled and seasoned)
- 6 piece Garlic cloves small
- 2 piece Medium onion
- 70 g Fat bacon
- 1 packet Frozen soup greens
- 250 ml Broth
- 250 ml Red wine
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 250 ml Cream
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sweet paprika
- Sear the roast in the roasting pan in hot olive oil on all sides.
- In the meantime, pour the stock and red wine together.
- Sear the bacon, add onion cubes, soup greens and garlic (lightly mashed with the ball of the hand) and sauté.
- Stir in a little tomato paste and deglaze with the liquid.
- And now stew the roast in it for about 2.5 hours.
- Now the roast is taken out briefly and the liquid is poured off through a sieve.
- Lightly push everything through.
- Now season the sauce with cream, salt, pepper and paprika.
