Sandwich Burger

The perfect sandwich burger recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Minced meat
  • 1 tsp Tabasco
  • 2 medium sized Fresh nectarines
  • 2 medium sized Tomatoes
  • 4 Stems Basil
  • 8 NS. Bacon slices
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt
  • 8 NS. Toast
  • 8 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  1. Season the minced beef in a bowl with Tabasco and shape into 4 flat meatballs. Place on a plate lined with cling film and freeze for about 10 minutes (this way the meatballs stay nice and flat).
  2. Halve the nectarines and remove the stones from the tomatoes. Cut both into thin slices. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
  3. Fry the bacon slices in a large non-oiled pan over medium heat until crispy and brown. Place on a plate. Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the pan (the bacon fat was enough for me) .Bulettes in bacon fat on each side about 2 Fry until brown for 4 minutes, then continue to fry over medium heat for 4-6 minutes, season with salt.
  4. Toast the sandwich toast and spread 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise. Divide the tomatoes, nectarines and basil on 4 slices of toast. Place the buns, each 1 teaspoon of tomato ketchup, bacon and the remaining slices of toast on top. Serve immediately.
