Marinade for Lamb

The perfect marinade for lamb recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 piece Fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 tablespoon Rosemary needles, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano leaves, fresh
  • 1 branch Fresh thyme
  • 1 branch Olive herb
  • 50 ml Extra virgin olive oil
  1. Peel the garlic, clean the herbs, finely chop everything and mix with the other ingredients to form a marinade.
  2. Cut the lamb into cubes and add to the marinade. Mix well and let steep for about 2 – 3 hours.
  3. Then process as desired and only add salt just before serving.
  4. These quantities refer to approx. 500 g lamb diced.
  5. OLIVE HERB: After I had several inquiries about the olive herb, now here is the solution: You can buy this herb in small pots in all well-stocked DIY stores and gardeners. It’s delicate, with needle-like leaves, and it smells and tastes like olives. I’ve had mine in the herb bed for three years and it gets stronger every year. I dry the excess herb and so I have this wonderful taste even in winter.
