Chicken Roulade
The perfect chicken roulade recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For rice
- 150 g Spinach
- 100 g Feta cheese
- 1 Pc. Onions / medium size
- Thyme, salt, pepper
- 150 ml. Oil for frying
- 1 Pc. Carrot
- 100 g Celery
- 1 Pc. Leek
- 1 Pc. Finely chopped parsley / small
- – Slice the chicken breast flat in the middle like a butterfly. Put cling film on top and knock on.
- Dice the onions, chop the garlic very finely and let it simmer slowly in the pan. Then add the chopped spinach and stir. Chop the feta cheese with a fork and mix carefully with the spinach and garlic mixture.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper and spread over the chicken. Wrap in a roulade / close with wooden sticks.
- Cook rice. In the meantime, fry the carrot, celery / coarsely grated, leek / cut into small pieces / and finely chopped parsley in a pan with fat. Then season with salt and pepper and mix properly with cooked rice.
- Heat the pan and pour the oil on it. Sprinkle the roulades with thyme and fry all over.
- Rice in a small shape Zb. Press in the coffee cup and then lower it onto the plate. Remove the roulade / wooden sticks / cut into a few slices.
- Process the frying fat into a sauce and baste it. Arrange nicely on the plate. – Any salad is suitable.
