Meat Dishes: Beef Fillet Steaks
The perfect meat dishes: beef fillet steaks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
spices
- 4 size Potatoes
- Sea salt from the mill
- Black pepper from the mill
- 1 tbsp Peanut oil
- Oil for the potatoes
- I bought 5 kg of beef fillet. I cut a few for steaks, 3 cm thick, the rest was peeled. Two pieces of it went straight into the grill pan.
- So first the pan. I have a cast grill pan weighing around 3 kg. A good pan is all about it.
- Preheat the oven to 100 degrees.
- First the potatoes are not completely cooked, let them cool down briefly and cut into quarters. My potatoes were so beautiful, I fried them with their skin on. Heat a lot of oil in a pan and fry the potato wedges until golden brown. Remove from the pan and drain and off to the oven to keep warm (season with cumin, salt and pepper)
- Everything has to be prepared (salad, cutlery and everything you need)
- Put the grill pan on the stove top without oil. When it is really hot add the oil (I use peanut oil because it is very heat-resistant). Then reduce the heat to about half.
- Then sear the steaks for 3 minutes on each side (turn only once) after searing, first season with salt and pepper (from the mill, of course), then wrap in aluminum foil and place in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Arrange and you’re done.
