Healthy But Not Boring

The perfect healthy but not boring recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 gr Red lenses
  • 150 gr Cous cous or bulgur
  • 1 el Sesame seeds
  • 1 Onion or spring Onion
  • 0,5 Chopped red pepper
  • 0,5 Chopped yellow pepper
  • 1 Clove of garlic chopped
  • 2 el Flour of your choice
  • 1 el Breadcrumbs
  • 2 el Lemon juice
  • 1 el Sugar
  • 0,5 bunch Chopped parsley
  • 0,5 bunch Chives chopped
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt-Pepper-Chilli powder to taste
  1. I rinsed the lentils with cold water according to the instructions and simmered them in 3 cups of water for about 10 minutes .. after this time I added the couscous .. of course bulgur is also possible.I let both sit on a low flame for another 10 minutes. in the meantime i have chopped both kinds of paprika, garlic as well, onion too .. i put everything together in a bowl and added all the other ingredients on my list … except for the oil.
  2. I mixed all the ingredients and now also added the lentil couscous mixture … I mixed the whole mixture. then I formed “things” similar to mushrooms. I put the vegetable oil in a pan and fried all the mushrooms quickly and very hot .. 14 pieces were made .. they taste best when cooled! I sprinkled it with parsley and added chilli sauce over it .. a raw vegetable salad is sure to be right too ..
