Meatballs Mediterranean Way

- 1 kilogram Mixed minced meat
- 1 Onion
- 3 Eggs
- Stale white bread or rolls
- 3 Garlic cloves
- Salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, rosemary
- Possibly breadcrumbs
- Oil
- Soak the stale white bread in water. Peel the onion and cut into cubes. Peel the garlic cloves and cut into very small cubes. Chop up fresh herbs or use dried ones.
- Put the minced meat in a bowl. Beat the eggs over it. Squeeze the soaked white bread well, crumble it and add it. Pour onion, garlic, herbs, salt and pepper over it and mix everything well. If the meat dough is too soft, add some breadcrumbs. Season everything well and shape into meatballs.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meatballs. Turn several times.
