Lotti’s Favorite Schnitzel
The perfect lotti’s favorite schnitzel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 6 Pork schnitzel
- 2 Poles Leek
- 200 g Smoked belly or bacon cubes
- 2 Cans Mushrooms
- 2 packet Hunter sauce e.g. from Maggi
- 1 a cup Sweet cream
- 1 a cup Sour cream
- 200 g Grated Gouda
- Pepper
- Season the schnitzel well with pepper and place on a baking sheet.
- Cut the leek into fine rings.
- Chop up the mushrooms.
- Sauté the leek, mushrooms and smoked belly.
- Mix the hunter’s sauce and sweet cream and add to the leek, mushroom and bacon mixture and then remove the pan from the hob.
- After the mixture has cooled down, add the sour cream and the grated Gouda cheese to the mixture and stir in. Then pour the whole thing over the schnitzel.
- The schnitzel has to stand for 24 hours, then bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C / fan oven 180 ° C for about 45 minutes.
- Since there is little sauce, either only serve salads, baguettes, French fries or croquettes with it.
