Baked Pointed Cabbage
The perfect baked pointed cabbage recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 piece Cabbage
- 100 ml Freshly squeezed orange juice
- 100 ml Milk
- 125 ml Vegetable broth
- 2 disc Gouda cheese
- 1 teaspoon Curry
- 30 g Butter
- Pepper from the grinder
- Salt
- Flour for dusting
- 0,5 teaspoon Sugar
- Clean and quarter the pointed cabbage and remove the stalk. Stew in a little salt / sugar water for about 8-10 minutes. Take out and drain.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan, dust with flour, let it sauté a little. Add the vegetable stock, milk and orange juice and bring to the boil. Season to taste with curry, pepper and salt. Cut the Gouda cheese into small cubes and let it melt in the sauce.
- Put the pointed cabbage in a baking dish and pour the sauce over it. Baked in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for approx. 10-15 minutes or gratinated briefly under the grill.
- We had small turkey schnitzel and green ribbon noodles with it.
