Marinated Ribs
The perfect marinated ribs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 6 piece Ribs
- 2 piece Fresh garlic
- 2 tbsp Mustard medium hot
- 1 Splash Chilli sauce
- 5 piece Onion
- Salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp Sunflower oil
- 2 tsp Food starch
- Wash the ribs and pat dry, set aside. Peel the onions and cut them into rings.
- Make a marinade from the mustard, sunflower oil, chilli sauce, finely chopped garlic, salt and pepper.
- Put a layer of onions in a bowl with a lid. Coat the ribs well with the marinade and place on the onions, coat the top with the marinade again, if you have a second layer, start with onions again, then brush the ribs, etc. Finally, cover with onions and close the lid and put in the refrigerator.
- I let it marinate for at least 1.5 days and then sear it (only with the marinade, without the onions), remove the ribs and now add the onions and make a nice sauce, later add the ribs again and stew everything properly to let. The bones should be easy to detach from the ribs …
- Fill a cup with cold water, dissolve 2 teaspoons of cornstarch in it and use it to thicken the sauce. Boiled potatoes go well with it.
