Ajvar Schnitzel Casserole with Ribbon Noodles

The perfect ajvar schnitzel casserole with ribbon noodles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Paprika
  • 8 Thin pork schnitzel
  • Flour
  • 400 ml Cream
  • 500 g Tagliatelle
  • Salt pepper
  • 180 g Ajvar Mild
  • 1 bag Gratin cheese
  1. Cook the pasta as usual. But only when the casserole has been in the oven for a while, otherwise they will get too cold.
  2. Wash the bell peppers and cut into fine cubes.
  3. Dab the schnitzel (I used minute steaks), season with salt and pepper, then turn in the flour once.
  4. Layer the peppers and schnitzel alternately in the baking dish.
  5. Mix the Ajvar with the cream and pour into the mold. Cover and let simmer in the oven at 180 degrees for 60 minutes (I used baking paper). After 1 hour, sprinkle the cheese on top and leave for another 10-15 minutes, depending on the remaining baking.
