B & B Vegetables in Saffron Sauce

The perfect b & b vegetables in saffron sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 220 g Green beans
  • 500 g Cauliflower
  • 1 Pc. Onion
  • 100 g Bacon cubes
  • 2 dl Vegetable broth
  • 2 dl Cream
  • 1 Letter Ground saffron
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Wash the beans and cauliflower and cut into small pieces. Finely chop the onion.
  2. Slowly fry the diced bacon without fat until crispy. Add the onions and sauté until translucent. Steam the cauliflower and beans.
  3. Pour in the stock and cream, add the saffron. Cover and simmer for approx. 15 minutes, season.
  4. Can be served with a piece of meat or with rice / noodles.
