The advantage of a homemade vegetable broth: You know exactly what’s in it and how the individual ingredients have been processed. That’s why we have a recipe for you for a seasoning paste that you can fill into pre-boiled screw-top jars and keep in the fridge without hesitation:

  1. Only use fresh ingredients for your homemade vegetable broth. You will also need a blender or blender.
  2. For a glass of vegetable broth you need: a quarter of a celery head, half a leek, a large carrot, an onion, cloves and a half of garlic, some herbs (such as parsley or chives), and about two and a half tablespoons of salt.
  3. First, wash or peel the ingredients and cut them into large pieces. Chop the herbs.
  4. Put everything in a blender and chop everything up briefly. After that, add the salt, stir and let the mixture steep for a few minutes.
  5. Blend the mixture into a paste.
  6. The finished paste is filled into a clean screw-top jar and sealed tightly. Your homemade vegetable paste is ready!
  7. Use the vegetable paste exactly as you would use the powdered broth. Two teaspoons mixed with a liter of water make a delicious vegetable broth.
