How to use rice water

The slightly acidic rice water is said to be particularly effective. To integrate rice water into your facial care, put some of the liquid on a cotton pad and use it as a tonic before your day cream. Simply dab the skin gently – done!

If you drink rice water for an upset stomach, refine the liquid with a pinch of salt. The extra minerals are said to help on the road to recovery. For an energy boost in the morning, leave out the salt and spice up the relatively tasteless water with honey or cinnamon for more flavor.
