Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g pasta (Fleckerl)
- 1 large onion(s), finely chopped
- some butter
- 50 g smoked bacon, diced
- 200 g cooked ham, cut into fine strips
- 500 g white cabbage, cut into noodles
- e.g. salt and pepper
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tsp caraway seeds, whole
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Cook the Fleckerl in salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, briefly fry the onion in a little butter. Add the bacon and fry until crispy. Then add the ham and white cabbage. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and caraway seeds, cover, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in the cooked Fleckerl and season again if necessary.
