Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 100 g almonds
- 500 g flour
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 tsp, leveled salt
- 75 g sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 125 g butter
- 150 ml milk, lukewarm
- Fat, for the shape
- 140 g flour
- 80 g butter, soft
- 60 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 drop flavoring (lemon)
- some milk, for brushing
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 5 minutes

Combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar in a bowl and mix. Add the egg, almonds, butter, and milk and mix everything together. Let it rise for 30 minutes. Knead briefly again and shape into a log. Place this in a greased loaf pan (11 x 30 cm). Combine the crumble topping ingredients in a bowl and mix. Brush the dough with a little milk, sprinkle generously with the crumbles, and press them down lightly. Cover again and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 175-200°C and bake for about 45 minutes.
