Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g wheat flour or instant flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 eggs, size M
- 220 ml water, lukewarm
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir thoroughly with a wooden spoon until the batter bubbles. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and drop the spaetzle into the boiling water using a spaetzle grater. When they float to the top, they’re done. If the batter is runnier, you’ll get longer spaetzle. If the batter is firmer, you’ll get Knöpfle.
