Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 kg asparagus
- 1 kg potatoes
- 200 g cooked ham
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 packs of sauce powder for Hollandaise sauce, instant
- 1 pack of grated cheese, Emmental or Gouda
- salt and pepper
- 100 ml milk
- chives
- 1 dash of lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes
Peel the potatoes, slice them, and boil them in salted water. Peel the asparagus, cut them into small pieces, and cook them in boiling salted water (with a dash of lemon juice) for 15 minutes until al dente. Cut the ham into small cubes. First, arrange the cooked potatoes in a baking dish, then sprinkle half of the ham over them. Then arrange the asparagus and the rest of the ham on top. Mix the cream, sour cream, and milk well. Stir in the hollandaise sauce. Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle chives (to taste) into the sauce. Spread the mixture over the asparagus and potato mixture. Spread the grated cheese evenly and bake at 200°C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
