Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g beans, green
- ⅛ liter olive oil
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ liter of water
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Wash and de-string the beans. Heat olive oil and sauté 3 grated (!) tomatoes and 2 grated (!) onions in it (about 5 minutes). Heat salt, sugar, and water, add the beans, and cook for about 20 minutes. In Turkey, the dish is served almost cold, and it actually tastes better when cooled.
