Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large squid
  • 1 pack of bacon
  • 100 g flour
  • some olive oil for frying
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 sprigs of parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Squid bites

Cut the squid into 1 cm wide rings. Halve the bacon slices lengthwise and wrap them around the rings. Heat plenty of olive oil in a pan to approximately 160°C, coat the rings in flour, and fry until crispy. Drain the rolls on kitchen paper. Finely chop the parsley and garlic. Add pepper, salt, and olive oil and drizzle the mixture over the rolls. It tastes best warm, but it also works well cold.
