Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 2 kg potatoes (not too large)
- 5 handfuls of sea salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
Wrinkled potatoes
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and place them unpeeled, not completely submerged, in a pan. Add the salt and cover the pot. When the potatoes are cooked (takes about 20 minutes), drain the water and return the pot to the hot stove for a short time. Stir the potatoes until they turn slightly wrinkled and whitish. These potatoes are often served with all kinds of fish and meat in Tenerife.
