Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 apples
  • 4 tbsp rum
  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder, for baking
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 50 g almond(s), grated
  • 50 g chocolate, grated (block chocolate)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

according to a recipe from my mother

The apples are diced and marinated in the rum for about 30 minutes. Then, the butter, sugar, and eggs are creamed until fluffy. The flour is mixed with the baking powder and stirred in. The remaining ingredients are gradually added. The batter is then poured into a greased 28 cm cake pan and baked at 180 degrees Celsius for about 60 minutes.
