Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 kg white cabbage
- 3 carrots
- 1 bell pepper(s)
- 1 tbsp garlic salt
- 2 tbsp caraway seeds
- 1 liter of water
- 100 ml vinegar
- 100 ml oil
- 100 g sugar
- 2 tbsp salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes
Grate the white cabbage and place it in a bowl. Grate the carrots and add them. Dice the bell peppers and add them as well. Sprinkle with garlic salt and caraway seeds and mix everything together. For the marinade, bring the water to a boil and add the vinegar, oil, sugar, and salt. Pour the hot marinade over the salad and let it marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
