Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g bulgur
- 3 beefsteak tomatoes
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 leaves mint, fresh
- ¼ bunch parsley, flat
- 1 onion(s)
- 3 Pepper, green mild
- 1 lemon(s)
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- Paprika powder, hot
- salt and pepper
- chili powder
- ½ cucumber(s)

Prepare the bulgur according to the package instructions. Finely dice the peppers, cucumber, onions, and beefsteak tomatoes and add them to a large bowl with the tomato paste. Squeeze almost all of the lemon juice over the salad. Press the garlic and add it. Add the cooked bulgur and mix everything thoroughly. Season to taste with sambal oelek and the other spices. Finely chop the mint and parsley and stir in at the end. Important: The true flavor only develops when the salad is well chilled and has stood for at least 1 hour.
