delicious exotic drink from Ecuador
First, peel and boil the orange. Meanwhile, juice the blueberries and then the blackberries in a food processor. Combine the juices in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Gradually add a little water. Once the drink is boiling, add the cornflour, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and sugar. Meanwhile, wash and boil the herbs thoroughly. The water they were boiled in is then added to the colada. Continue to simmer the colada. Finally, add the pineapple, star fruit, and strawberries. Let the whole thing simmer for a little longer, and the colada morada is ready. This drink can be served hot or cold. You can also add sugar or ishpingo to taste.
