Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 230 g flour
- 40 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 420 ml milk
- 40 g butter, melted
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Scottish pancakes
Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks, then stir in the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Add the butter and milk and mix well. Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Fold them into the batter with a spatula. Heat a pan with oil and cook medium-sized, thick pancakes. It’s best to let the batter run into the pan without spreading it. It’s especially delicious with Nutella!
