Green bean, potato and dill stew

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 pack of frozen green beans, approx. 1 kg
  • 6 m.-sized potatoes, peeled
  • 1 ½ bunch dill, coarsely chopped
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 medium-sized onions, coarsely chopped
  • 1 large garlic clove(s)
  • 10 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Greek style

Gently heat the olive oil in a saucepan. Add the onion and garlic and sauté gently over medium heat. After about 6-8 minutes, add the green beans and sauté briefly again. Add the chopped tomatoes and the halved or quartered potatoes, mix everything lightly, and season with dill, salt, and pepper. You can add more dill to taste. Cook everything over medium heat until the vegetables are tender. Flatbread is best served with this dish.
