Pasta with tomato and mozzarella sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ tbsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Tabasco
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 2 handfuls of mozzarella
  • 4 tbsp Parmesan
  • 250 g tagliatelle pasta

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions, drain well, and set aside. Meanwhile, add the oil to a pan and fry the finely chopped onions. When they are golden brown, add the finely chopped garlic. Fry for about 2 minutes. Then add the chopped tomatoes, bring back to a boil, and season with salt, pepper, and Tabasco. Stir in the tomato paste and simmer. Once the pasta is cooked, chop the basil and fold in. Add the pasta and mozzarella and mix everything together. Transfer to a plate and garnish with Parmesan cheese and 2 fresh basil leaves.
