  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • ½ bulb(s) garlic
  • 250 g quark, low-fat
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Freshly chopped herbs of your choice
  • salt and pepper

Variation of Greek Tzatziki

Peel the cucumber, dice it finely, season it with salt, and let it steep in water for 30 minutes. Peel the garlic, season it with salt and pepper, and let it steep for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, mix the quark with chopped fresh herbs and cream until smooth. Now add the squeezed cucumber. Finally, mash the garlic, seasoned with salt and pepper, with a fork and mix it into the quark mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. It’s best to let it steep for at least 3 hours, as it tastes better that way!
