- 500 g water or broth
- 100 g polenta semolina, instant
- Tomato(s), dried in oil, to taste
- Salt
- Parmesan, freshly grated, optional

First, bring the liquid to a boil. Then remove the pot from the heat and stir in the polenta semolina. The amount varies slightly depending on how thick you want the polenta. Wait about 5 minutes for the polenta to expand. Then chop the tomatoes from the jar and mix them into the polenta. Season with salt. If you like, you can also stir in grated Parmesan cheese for an even more hearty polenta.
