Walnut – Olive – Salami – Sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g walnuts
  • 15 black olives, pitted
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • ½ bunch basil
  • 75 g salami, air-dried
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 30 g Parmesan, freshly grated, for sprinkling

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

a quick and tasty affair

Roughly chop the walnuts. Slice the olives. Wash the herbs, shake dry, pick off any excess leaves, and chop them. Cut the salami into strips. Heat butter in a saucepan. Add the walnuts, olives, and salami strips and fry briefly. Then stir in the chopped herbs. Season with pepper and cayenne pepper. Serve the Parmesan cheese separately with the sauce. Serve this sauce with cooked pasta of your choice.
