Spaghetti with cold tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 6 leaves basil, fresh
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 500g spaghetti
  • e.g. Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain through a sieve. Place the peeled tomatoes and their juice in a bowl and roughly chop. Tear the basil leaves into small pieces and add them to the tomatoes along with the crushed garlic and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Mix with the cooked spaghetti and serve. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
