Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup onion(s), diced
- 2 cup(s) tomatoes, pureed
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp basil, fresh, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- n. B. Pfeffer
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Heat the oil. Add the onions and sauté until translucent. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, and herbs and mix well. Simmer on medium heat with the lid closed for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Goes well with spaghetti.
