Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 400 g tomatoes, chopped
  • 8 slices of bacon (breakfast bacon)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 100 ml white wine
  • some olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs
  • Thyme
  • Salt
  • pepper

Chop the carrot into small cubes and sauté in olive oil for 5-8 minutes. Then add the bacon, also diced, and the crushed garlic clove and sauté for a few more minutes at low heat. Drain the diced tomatoes a little and then add them to the rest. Add a tablespoon of Italian herbs and season with thyme, salt, and pepper. Add the white wine until the sauce reaches the desired consistency. Let everything simmer for 2-3 minutes.
