Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 large fish fillets (plaice)
- ½ lemon(s), the juice
- 2 m.-large tomato(s)
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- salt and pepper
- 1 jar water
- 1 jar wine, red
- 2 tbsp basil, chopped
- olive oil
- 100 g Camembert(s) or other soft cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Place the plaice fillets in a baking dish. Drizzle with the juice of 1/2 lemon. Wash the tomatoes and peel the onions. Finely dice both and scatter over the top. Peel and crush the garlic clove. Mix with the wine and pour over the fish. Add water – the fish should be submerged in liquid, as it will be steaming. Sprinkle with the basil, salt, and pepper, and drizzle with a little olive oil. Slice the cheese and arrange on top. Place in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes. Cover tightly with aluminum foil for the first 15 minutes. Then remove the aluminum foil to allow the cheese to melt. If desired, add the grill. This goes very well with farfalle, lamb’s lettuce, and a dry red wine (despite the fish).
