Classic lasagna

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g carrot(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 500 g minced meat (beef)
  • 200 ml tomato juice
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 40 g butter
  • 40 g flour
  • ¾ liter of milk
  • 9 lasagna sheets
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 4 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • some basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Dice the carrots, onions, and garlic and sauté in oil. Sauté the tomato paste and fry the minced meat until crumbly. Deglaze with tomato juice, simmer for about 5 minutes, and season. For the béchamel, melt the fat and sauté the flour in it. Deglaze with milk. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Season to taste. Pour some béchamel sauce into a baking dish. Place 3 lasagna sheets on top. Spread half of the minced meat sauce on top and pour 1/3 of the béchamel sauce over it. Cover with 3 lasagna sheets. Spread the remaining minced meat sauce and 1/3 of the béchamel sauce on top and place another 3 lasagna sheets on top. Pour the remaining béchamel sauce over the top. Cut the tomato into pieces and place on the lasagna. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 200°C for about 40 minutes. Garnish with basil leaves.
