Stuffed cannelloni with ham and cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 lasagna sheets
  • 8 slices of ham (pressed ham)
  • 8 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • 8 slices of Parma ham
  • 150 g leaf spinach, frozen
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Nutmeg, grated
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 750 ml milk
  • Parmesan, grated
  • Butter, in flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the lasagna sheets in salted water until al dente. Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil, add the spinach, and sauté briefly. Season with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg. Spread the lasagna sheets out and top with ham, Gouda, Parma ham, and a tablespoon of spinach. Roll up the filled lasagna sheets and layer them in a buttered dish. Béchamel sauce: Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour, and mix with a whisk. Pour in the milk and reduce, stirring constantly. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour the béchamel sauce over the cannelloni. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a few knobs of butter, then bake in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes. Serve with a green salad.
