Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g bacon, streaky smoked
- 300 ml tomato(s), pureed
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp basil
- 400g spaghetti
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Dice the bacon and onion, then fry them in a little olive oil in a pan. Add the tomato puree and season with basil and cayenne pepper, then simmer gently for about 15 minutes over low heat. While the sauce is cooking, cook the spaghetti al dente. Garnish with a few basil leaves and serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
