Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g potatoes
  • 250 g flour
  • 120 ml milk
  • ½ cube of yeast
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 50 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Boil the potatoes in salted water and then mash them finely. Add the flour and milk and mix. Place the dough in a bowl and make a well in the center. Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water and 1 teaspoon of sugar and pour it into the well. Cover with flour and let it rise for about 30 minutes. Finely dice the garlic and onion and sauté in olive oil. Add the tomatoes and simmer for about 20 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar, and oregano. Knead the dough and let it rise for another 20 minutes. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet and spread with the tomato sauce. Break the egg and spread it all over the dough. Crumble the cheese and sprinkle it over the pizza. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes.
