Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 8 king prawns, peeled, frozen or fresh
- 125 g rice
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 small slices of ginger, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 1 carrot(s)
- 1 egg(s)
- 100 g peas, frozen
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Cook the rice as usual. Chop the garlic, onion, bell pepper, and carrot. Whisk the egg, season with salt and pepper, and fry it in a pan with a little oil to make an omelet. Then chop it into small pieces. Fry the prawns in a pan with sesame oil until pink, then set aside. In the same pan, fry the bell peppers and carrots, then add the peas and fry the onion, garlic, and ginger. After about 2-5 minutes, add the cooked rice, egg, and prawns to the vegetable pan. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, and serve. You can add other vegetables, such as baby corn, snow peas, etc.
