Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g fish fillet(s) (cod or cod), cut into strips
- 500 g tomatoes, peeled, cut into small cubes
- 3 onions, finely chopped
- 4 chili peppers, red, pitted, cut into thin pieces
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- Salt, plenty
- chili powder
- pepper
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- Oil, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Heat oil in a pan, sweat the onions until translucent, and add the chilies, tomatoes, and spices. Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Finally, add the fish strips, let them simmer, season to taste, and serve in the pan.
