Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g fish fillet(s), cooked, boneless
- 3 shallots, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- ½ tbsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp coriander
- ½ tbsp cardamom
- Butter, for frying
- 2 eggs
- Breadcrumbs
- Flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Shred the cooked fish and blend until medium-fine. Sauté the shallot and garlic cubes in a little butter until translucent, then knead into the fish mixture. Season generously with the spices to taste. Form small, flat patties or flatbreads, coat in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs (tapping well). Fry in plenty of oil until crispy on each side. Serve with rice and mixed vegetables.
