French chocolate tart with a delicate orange note from Provence, made according to an ancient family recipe

First, melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler. Separate the eggs and whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until frothy. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180°C. Combine the still-warm chocolate mixture with the egg and sugar mixture, then add the flour and a little grated orange zest. Finally, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold them in. Pour the mixture into a 28cm (26cm) springform pan and bake in the oven with top/bottom heat for a maximum of 15 minutes. This will make the tart wonderfully moist and juicy! Optionally, garnish with the orange slices and serve warm, if possible. For the perfect taste experience, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and enjoy! Tip: It tastes even better with peppermint ice cream (After Eight)!
